How often should I service my car?

As a general rule of thumb you should have your car serviced every 12,000 or every 12 months, which ever comes first. However different makes and models of car may have specific servicing schedules as outlined in the car’s manufacture handbook that normally accompanies the car when first purchased.

Why is the final bill sometimes more than initially quoted?

When you book your car in for a service yo may not know the type of the service that your car is now due. At Ellis motors we will always check your car’s details once it is in the garage and we will advise you if any extra work is required, and let you know before commencing.

Also sometimes a car can only be fitted with manufactures specified parts and so the individual parts may be more expensive than first quoted.
